Question

I snapped one of the tps bolts inside the throttle body, Im going to have to make a run to the junkyard to find a new tbi unit, my question is doe the throttle body have to be from a 1988 vehicle (so i can use all the same sensors and connectors)? and does it have to be from a 5.0? From what i have read the 5.0 and 5.7 throttle body are the same, just different injectors.

Re: Question

Yes, 305 350 TB are the same less the injectors. Make sure your replacement has a cruise control linkage if you have it.

Re: Question

Or just remove the remaining piece of the bolt. Can't be that difficult to drill it out.
