Holley TB injector issues

Has anyone had any issues with the injectors leaking and squirting fuel out of the top? Ever since I had the injectors cleaned and flow tested, I can't get them to seal regardless of how I turn them or how much I press them in. It seems like the retaining plate isn't holding the injectors in place as when the fuel system pressurizes it bends the plate and the injectors lift up slightly. You can see this in the picture below. I also posted a couple pictures showing the orientation I have the injectors pointed. I'm not sure if this is an issue or not.

I honestly don't know what to do at this point. Previously, the injectors would bend the plate and lift up slightly but I had managed to get them to not leak. It's really frustrating me since this little issue is keeping me from breaking in the new engine and putting a good tune on it. Any help, advice, previous experience, etc. you guys can share regarding something like this would be much appreciated.

I would call the Company that serviced them. I find it hard to believe holley would use that sort of retaining plate. I see now on their site they do use it so should be OK. I bet O rings pinched or rolled or wrong size.

Re: Holley TB injector issues

They don't appear to be pinched or rolled or anything. It seems like they just aren't being secured in the pod by the retaining plate.

maybe the retainging plate is bent or something? i'd imagine you would have checked that already. seems very odd.

Re: Holley TB injector issues

Well I replaced both the O-rings and the retaining plate and the leaking appears to have been fixed. Not sure which one of these was the true issue but my hunch is that is was the retaining plate. Now I just have to figure out how to tune this thing lol
