Could use some info/advice...

Hi, I have a 1988 Camaro that has a LT-1 350 in it that's apparently using the original intake, TBI, and computer in it. It has some idle issues when first started, and at certain RPM's with your foot barely pressing the gas pedal, it will lightly shudder, kind of like it would when these cars hit their speed limiter, only really gently by comparison. Other than that, it seems to run fine and has NO hesitation when the gas pedal is pushed.

But I'm thinking that the original ECM REALLY needs to be tuned to the LT-1.

Also, it seems the Optispark has been bypassed using an aftermarket sensor allowing it to use the current (And expensive looking) Accel dizzy. I should also mention that the engine has header pipes too.

Any info or advice would be great.

I'll try to post pictures tomorrow.
