i have a 92 RS. Lately it hasnt been starting. It cranks to turn over but wont actually turn over. The fuel injectors are not spraying while I am cranking it. I can put fuel directly in there myself and it will turn over with no problem. I recently ran a fuel system cleaner through gas tank and thats when it started doing this. I know fuel lines are rusty and i know will break when i attempt to change filter. Im not sure if by running the cleaner it maybe broke a chunk of buildup loose and its clogging a line or if it may be a actual part that is going out, if so figuring out which one to replace. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Both break lines and fuel lines are on list of priorty things to do to it. Both take time and money and I seem to always have either one or the other but not both at the same time. Thanks for reading

 

Use a noid light to test for injector pulse. If that's good, then its time to test fuel pressure & see if the fuel pump is getting power & ground.

 

"Cranking" and "turning over" are the same thing.

Apparently you mean that the engine cranks (turns over) but won't run.

i def will try that, thanks...my mistake with the crank/turn over..i was meaning by cranking i can turn the key and the car wants to start but isnt receiving a spray of fuel. it will start and run by manually putting fuel there and turning the key. the turning over i meant that the car fires up and continues to run
