Since the last post I made got deleted from the server troubles I just thought I'd let you guys know that TBI is on it's way to making mid 13's.
I'm having major traction problems and my 60' is about as pathetic as those imports. I have a bunch of stuff still to do before Jan 6th but Atco was a great way to end the year.
Things that were against me running better ET:
z rated radials, LCA WAY off parallel after lowering springs, sway bars and STB all on the car, no tire pressure adjustments, full interior and stereo equipment (listened to music the whole way down the 1/4
), using stock Lo5 cop car timing/spark tables, no WOT air fuel ratio adjustments, unknown fuel pressure accounting for loss of power above 5000rpm (65# injectors need more pressure to support 330hp), and my torque converter is stock so I can't run any good 60' times.
When I adjust the timing tables I'm sure I'll unlock a 104mph run and that's where I want to be. Then with some grip I should definatly be mid 13's.

Glad to see some good times for you. Wish I had traction problems
Well maybe by spring I will have 350 in.
Well maybe by spring I will have 350 in. JP, will you email me (or post here) your spark table like I did? I'd like to see it and help you/everyone. remember, I had dyno time with an engine quite similar to yours but heads modified a bit.
Posting here wold be better now becasue I am at work and cannot get to HOTMAIL with the firewall here. Tunercat at home, too, or I could just pull up the COP BIN.
Thanks and CONGRATS!
WIth spark help, I can get you to 105mph!!!!!!!!!!! ANd actually, help the minimal traction at launch, perhaps.

I'll try the tables out. I didn't get a chance because of my friend breaking his car and needing me to wait for the tow truckS. First truck couldn't tow him that far so we almost got into a fight. Then we sent him away and called up AAA again. It basically stopped the day for me and I only got 4 runs in. On Jan 6th I should have the timing tables all done and ready for the track.

jon, what were your shift points? did you shift yourself? what were you revving to when you went through the end of the 1/4?
you have 245/50's right?
i am just trying to see where the 3.73's put your terminal 3rd gear velocity....
good job with the times man..i am impressed. and VERY encouraged about this spring when i get my car back on the road.
