Help with removing TPI to replace intake

I just bought an '86 Z28...I need to replace the intake manifold. I recently got one from eBay. I'm EXTREMELY new to the world of TPI. Is it difficult to remove? Any thoughts or suggestions on the proper steps in the procedure would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Help with removing TPI to replace intake

If everything goes according to plan, they're not difficult to remove. You'll need to start by removing the upper plenum and runners to get to all the lower intake bolts. Plan on breaking lots of T40 torx sockets depending on how stuck your bolts are. I had to heat one of them up with a torch on the one I pulled, which was a PITA.
