Distributor Wire Question

I recently did a motor swap and i cant figure out where im supposed to plug in the secondary wire coming off my distributor i attached a photo with it circled and pointed it, i know one end goes into the distributor but i dont know where the other end goes and ive been trying to figure it out for days any help would be greatly appreciated, also i have one other wire i need to figure out where it goes but ill probably have to take a photo and attach it later, its coming off the driverside of the wiring harness at the back of the block though, its a round three prong wire, that comes down beside my oil pressure sensor, but i dont believe its related to it aside from that, its a strangely shaped plug.

Re: Distributor Wire Question

Welcome to the forum... First off what exactly are you working on? What year is the car and what engine? The three pronged wire I believe is for the oil pressure switch that makes your fuel pump run.

Re: Distributor Wire Question

Yeah, specifically it connects the small port on the ignition module that sticks out of the distributor and can only be connected one way to the coil.
Piece of cake!
