Hi all, I saw this as an old thread but there was never a end result story. I have exactly the same issue. The car will start with a bit of help from the old start spray but unless I cycle the throttle it will cut out. I have changed the O2 sensor,spark plugs,cleaned all the contacts on the distributor and checked all the vacuum lines and connections. the only thing I found was the gasket under the air filter spacer was knackered.Would this be enough to give this issue? Fuel pressure is good.
