Tbi unsolved mystery

i am trying to solve a big mystery. I have a 1990 454 tbi setup. I am having tbiparts rebuilding my tbi with 54mm bore, thin butterfly blades, needle bearings installed because I am planning on a procharger next year and a fuel pump regulator block off. I am installing a areomotive 13301. My question in return lines. I have one return line on the FPR and one return line on the tbi on the passenger side and only one factory return line running back to the tank. I have been searching this forumn for three days, people have come close to answering this question but haven’t answered it fully. Others have given pictures but most of the plumbing is hidden and you cant tell how they are running there returns. I know I can’t block off the return coming out of the tbi. How do you run the return lines. Do you run the return from the tbi and the return from the fpr to a y block and connect both to the return going to the tank. Or can I keep the the return as is from the tbi to the return in there tank and block the return on the new fpr. Or I am I thinking this all wrong and need to do something else. After this I am getting my chip programmed by tbichip, 280 duration full roller cam setup and 396 98cc heads. Please don’t say I need to go carbureted

Re: Tbi unsolved mystery

Run the return outlet of the TBI unit into a side port on the 13301 FPR.

Then run a line from the FPR bottom port to the line that goes back to the tank.

Basically, the 13301 FPR goes between the TBI unit and the tank return line.

RBob.

The reason why I posted a question for my truck about tbi. Is where most forums have died out. This forum is alive, has a dedicated tbi section and everyone seems to know there stuff. I will also try the gmt400 forum
