Best TBI after market heads?
Best TBI after market heads?
I'm building a 350 with forged flat tops, and a 150hp shot of juice. I am evaluting all the aftermarket heads, and I've decided to go with aluminum for sure. I want around 9.6:1 compression, so I have to go with 64cc combustion chambers. That pretty much eliminates the Edelbrock Performer TBI heads, cause they have 60cc chambers since the TBI motors came with dished pistons. I also do not plan to use vortec style heads either. My main issue is this...How large of intake runners do I need, and how much total flow? I don't want to over kill, but I noticed that the Performer TBI's have less flow than stock vortecs. 170cc, or closer to 200cc? what sized valves? The cam I'm running is a compu cam 214:220 450:465, and I'm running the Holley 670cfm TBI and Projection intake...thanks guys!

AFR are the best heads out there and aren't but $250 more than the Edelbrock and flow like mad. Check their website for flow numbers. Substantially higher than Edelbrocks or Vortecs and you can get them with canted center bolts for TBI or not depending on the intake you want to use.
