found new TBI performance parts
I got my new Jegs catalog in the mail today and on page 90 there are a couple new product made by the Jegs company. I just thought I would pass this on to some of you
First off, we have TBI spacers. 10% more torque, 15% more horsepower, and 8% more fuel economy, or so they say. They want $73.99, a bit steep in my book.
Next, we have the TBI Fuel Injector Spacer. It raises your injector housing 1/4 inch above your throttle body and they claim it allows 15% more air flow into your engine. They're asking $19.99 for it.
These might be small things but I guess every little thing counts!
Just thought you would like to know.

Old news
btw, turbocity.com is the company that's been making those products for some time now. Don't get me wrong, every bit counts but those % hp and torque claims are crap. Just like a carb spacer. If you have the room for the spacer make your own. Get the gaskets and make your own out of some high temp plastic, special model wood from hobby store, or aluminum block! The injectors spacer is a better investment because it does what it says. It'll increase the flow but more importantly it'll raise the injector cone spray so it doesn't hit the throttle blades and stays against the bore walls. Some people have just doubled up gaskets and it's worked fine.
Jegs is just trying to ring in some more money just like that helix bore spacer crap. If somebody would pay for one of those they deserve to ripped off. It's called do your homework/research or don't be upset when you get ripped off.

2. double up the injector tower gasket for 1.39 and do the same thing. or better yet, trace the tower gasket onto a 12pack soda/beer box and cut a few of them out. it is just a seal that gm used to prevent the towers from being over tightened during production. it is not a critical seal. you can use any material that will not crush much.
