305 Tbi idling issues

I’ve made a video of the issues I’m having but I’ll type what I’ve said in it . I’m fairly new to the forums so I apologize if this isn’t the best place to post this .

so recently I’ve had an issue with the idling but I have a strong suspicion that it also has to do with the electronics (I’m not a big engine nut so take that with a grain of salt) . Seems like when I turn on my lights the engine ever so slightly chokes for a brief second but idles as usual , BUT when I turn on my hazards the engine seems to drop rpm quickly every time the lights blink . THEN if I switch to reverse , the engine seems to want to **** itself and starts to die off dropping its rpms by a lot .

here’s the video I uploaded on YouTube for (hopefully) a better idea of what’s going on ..

any help is the best help , again I apologize if this isn’t the place to ask . I’m a little lost here and never used a forum before .

Re: 305 Tbi idling issues

What is the battery voltage with the engine OFF?

What is the battery voltage with the engine running, and all accessories turned OFF?

What is the battery voltage with the Hazzard warning lights operating?

First Guess: Alternator failed, battery is weak, system voltage is so poor the computer can't think straight.
