Starting problem

My '92 -5L-tbi starts fine when cold and again if only shut off for 10 minutes but after 10 or so starts then dies unless I continually pump the gas until it " clears its throat " then runs fine. Any suggestions?

Re: Starting problem

1. What is the fuel pressure just before/just as the vehicle stalls?

2. How old are the various tune-up parts--cap, rotor, plug wires, plugs, PCV, fuel filter, air filter? When was the initial timing checked? Timing advance? EGR?

3. Connect a scan tool, verify ALL the sensors and computer outputs. Especially coolant temp, TPS, and IAC. What are the fuel trim numbers showing just before/just as the vehicle stalls?
