Hey everyone. I have had my camaro for about a year and a half and just found out about this site. This is great. I was wondering if anyone knew what the stock gears are in a 92 RS with the V8 five speed. Thanks for any help.

 

2.73, 2.77 or 3.08. It should say in the tech section on the main page. I think its 3.08..

 

Yep, 3.08.
Not TOO bad, you just need a little more power than you would with 3.73's.
Nothing a little more engine couldn't fix.

So does that mean we are going to be installing a VERY BIG cam in your beast in a few weeks?

 

My new goal is to make my car faster than yours. Nothing like a little friendly competition to light a fire under me.
As for the cam, nope, it's going to be a stock LT1. I'm trying to pin down a good used Weiand single plane, tho. I figure we have to pull the intake anyways, might as well replace it with something better and an adapter plate.
