hey guys, I am getting the HOLLEY 670cfm throttle body and I just wanna switch out the stock manifold at the same time, and I thought I would ask people who had either the Edelbrock Performer TBI intake or the HOLLEY pro-injection intake which was the better of the two. the only think I know is the edelbrock doesnt have 2" bores like the Holley one does. thanks

From what I read, the Edelbrock can be bored to 2" if its done perfectly. Plus its basically a direct bolt on.

The holley is a pos to put on. Friend has it on his firebird. The break vacuum line has to be t-ed off another line, the cruise bracket has to be fabbed, the throttle bracket has to be fabbed, your stock EGR wont fit... its a nightmare.

Im gonna attach a pic of gregs engine... if its takin' too long for everyone to dl tell me and ill take it off!

i switched to the holley intake after i decided to go for more top end power. it has a little larger plenum volume, so it can breath to 6000 pretty well. you can fix the edelbrock to do the same with the larger holes and cutting through the divider wall between the 2 sides of the intake so some of the volume is shared.
