Tbi....goodbye

I was just wondering next week i am putting tuned port on my car and taking off the TBI unit, i want to sell the TBI set up with everything, manifold, throttle body,harness,ECM,etc...etc. What would be a fair price to ask for it? It's in great shape.

hard to say. If its compete a lot, if its in pieces than almost nothing. I got a spare TBI for only $35. check out www.pirate4x4.com www.jeepsunlimited.com and www.off-road.com 4x4 people pay $$$ TBI systems from howell and holley brand new.

The unit would come complete since nothing with the tbi will work with the tpi. Intake manifold, throttle body, wiring harness, distributor, ECM w/chip, throttle cable, in tank fuel pump, air cleaner. I think that's about everything.

I just noticed you have a 350. Why not try a single plane intake with your TBI? you could do it for $115 or so. 7547 weiand and an adapter.

it depends on what you want. TQ wise the 350 TPI will be awesome but it will run our of breath on top. The TPI guys are buying runners and new bases and stuff to run low 13s/high 12s. you could probably do that with the single plane intake. If you price out those TPI parts you'll see how much they are.
