Timing marks

On my balancer, there are 2 marks (grooves) for the timing mark. One goes through the width of the balancer, the other one, 2" clockwise to that one, only goes half way through the balancer. Which one do I use as the mark?

i would line the timing mark with the line that has the full width of the balancer, then if its still not in time, use the second one!!!

Good old process of elimination.

The one that goes all the way is the one you want, kinda like a woman.
