is there a difference between WS6 wheels that are front and rear specific and normal base model wheels? on the inside of the wheel, they say "front only" and "rear only" ... does the car/brakes/spindle need to be anything special to fit these? or is it just the wheels? thanks

 

IT's different backspacing is all, the rear's use more backspace so that they won't fit the front without rubbing. The offset may be different as well, not sure on that.

Wheels will fit your car. Just don't put the rear specific wheels on the front. The front wheels can mount on both the front and rear.
I was running 4 front GTA Crosslace Wheels on my car, gave it a nice wide stance,

 

My 89 Formula has the 16inch ws6 alumminum wheels and on the rear they hum. My buddy owned the car b4 me and told me when he bought the car the car had 15inchers on it and they didn't rub, how can I fix this. Also I have a power attena which worked when I bought the car but now it doesn't wanna pop up anymore, how can I fix it.
