air tubes on my cats cracked off!

1-Will the cats burn out if the air tubes are not connected? 2-How bad will the emissions raise? 3-What about if I reroute the air line that was going to the cats to tie in with the air going in to the headers will lower emissions?

Not if the car is running properly. Emissions will raise, but probably not enough to fail a check. That won't work, the diverter valve only sends air to the headers when the car is cold. Why can't you just fix it?
