Which manual?
Which manual?
Well I have officially converted from the 2nd gen board (mad Mikes)to the 3rd gen board.
Sold my 80 Z28 and now have a 88 Iroc black on gray all options except t tops. Very happy with the car, it is by far the nicest driving car I have owned yet.
Now my question is: which repair manual do you reccomend? I had the Haynes manual for my 80 but it was very incomplete, like the wiring and very vague on the jobs I wanted to do or not going into any detail at all on some things.
Any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Charles

Helm's Manual. Best one out there hands down. Trouble finding/identifying a sensor? It's in there. Wiring troubles? Just look at the back of the book, can't beat the diagrams. www.helminc.com
I have a Haynes and a Chiltons manual for my third gen. I consistently use them both. Also, I have found some errors in both. They Haynes Manual has more photographs of the mork being done and the Chiltons has more CAD-styl exploded views. Putting both to use is a very power thing.
