HOw can i fix this?

I've had this SES code for a while, and i've found about 5 different places that told me what it means, and none of them cleared up my questions...

it's code 36 "MAF sensor burn-off circuit failure."

anyone know what could cause this, and how i could fix it? that light is getting mighty annoying.

another note is that it's not always on. it seems to come on at random.

any help would be great

Replace the maf burnoff relay, or clean it and make sure the wiring is good.

The relay is located on the drivers side firewall near the fuel pump relay.
