Could this be an exhaust leak?

What does an exhaust leak sound like? To someone who's never heard/seen one, could it sound like a clicking noise coming from right around the passanger side valve cover? I tried to pinpoint where this noise was coming from and it sounded around the back 2 cylinders. Is there a way to test for exhaust leaks?

an exhaust leak is more sound of air leaking no of somthing hitting so you can take a screw driver and put it up to the head and put it to your ear and you will hear if somthing is pinging, try in different places. if you do not hear anything pinging it is more than likely a leak but if you hear a metalic pinging much louder in one place than another it is more than likely a internal problem.

It will be a ticking sound that will get loud and faster with increased rpm.
