The one at the back of the intake manifold? Or the one at the oil filter? Heck, for either one, I wouldn't. Especially, the manifold one - and I don't think you'll hit a LOT of oil at the lower one either. If you think you might, just have a plug handy for a quick swap - or just swap the new switch in as fast as possible and take the hit on any oil bath.

OR wait to swap it out until your next regularly scheduled oil change.

No, it won't do any good. When the engine isn't running the oil is stored in the oil pan. You may get some residual when you pull the pressure switch out, but the draining the oil in the pan won't help that.

Anyone have any tips on how to get that sucker outta there? It's a big nut pattern, almost an inch I'd guess and I have no room to get to it with a open-end-boxed-end or crescent wrench. If that isn't bad enough a socket will not work either.
