If anyone is useing trickflow 23* and a comp roller cam could you tell me what size pushrod you are useing? Also what head gasket did you use? Rocker arm? Im putting them on a stock 89 350 and will either be using crane blazer full roller 1.6 or comp cams magnum roller tip 1.6.

At first I ordered a Comp cam, but sent it back and got a different one... Anyway I'm using Summit brand roller rockers and stock length pushrods with no problem. Geometry checked out OK. The roller should contact the valve stem tip slightly on the inside while the valve is seated and roll slightly toward the outside at max lift, which it does. If the cam has more than ohhhh... off the top of my head .5" lift a slightly longer pushrod might be needed. The cam I'm using now is a Summit brand $79 special. The guy I got the stroker kit from said he swears by these cams for high compression EFI motors because of the long duration and 114LSA makes idle tolerable (Mine lopes at 700 but clears right up at about 850rpm)

Also he recommended a single pattern for the trickflows because they have a good intake/exhaust ratio. Extra lift&duration on the ex isn't necessary, unless you're using stock exhaust manifolds...

He also said these cams are great for nitrous by getting the split pattern cam and putting 1.5's on the intake and 1.6's on the exhaust.... Although it won't run as good 'off the bottle'

Hope this helps...

Tra/maro ya they are pretty close. What rockers are you going to use? Also would it make a difference if I use brass in stead of aluminum pipe bushing reducers for the temp sensors? 2-Brass/$4 2-alum/$16
