What is the best way to set my bbk afpr while it is running or just turn the key to the on position. I put it on and attached my guage to the fuel rail. I then turned the key on. it showed 20 psi
So then I turned the screw a few times and bled the pressure off, I then turned the key back to the on position and it had 60 psi.
I have tried backing the screw out and checking, and rechecking, and the pressure will not back off to 48-50 psi. the screw is almost all the way out.
what am I doing wrong? should I check it while it is running?
thanks

hey dude, sound's like you have a good fuel pump!!!! from everything iv'e seen, your'e supposed do it while it's running... the reason you do it while it's runnig is because the vaccum line going to it will pull down the psi at idle and part throttle, when you hit wot the vaccum's gone and you have the pressure you set it at when it was idleing w the vaccum line unplugged... so just start it up unplug the vaccum line and while looking at the gauge set it to 51psi, then plug the vaccum line back up ,and your'e done!!!!!!
hope this helps!!! badgta:hail: :hail: blugrassz

thanks man! I was realy getting tired of running back and forth thry to check pressure, release the pressure, turn the key off, turn the key on, check, and recheck. It got old quick.
I though I could set it before putting the plenum back on incase there was a problem.
I will proably get my car back together this weekend. Im going to get my 3.73's installed in about another week. then its off to the install headers.
Im thinking about getting the hedman elite hedders. they are aluminized. And are about 255 bucks from jegs.
