Injector Sizes
Im looking at upgrading my injectors in the not to distant future. Currently I have the 22# that came on the engine stock. I was thinking about going up to the 30# or the 36# but I really dont know, is it possable to go to big? Along with all the mods that I already have done I am also in the process of porting out and siamizing another TPI manifold, runners, and plentum which I will put on when its all done. Any info on injector sizing would help

No bigger than 24# should be needed. Even stock 22#'s would work with most TPI SB's. I'm running 24#'s with a 388, 11:1 with a strong cam with just a little more pressure. I guess a 30# might be benificial with lower pressure for me (supposedly for longer pump life).......
Depends entirely on volumetric efficiency and RPM
As long as you meet the needs of the motor at 80% injector duty cycle some how.. todays injectors can handle even more.. yu'd be OK..
Yes, it's very likely you can overfuel a motor, losing power and paying at the pump for the loss, by upping inj size. Try getting a pressure reg. and get into chip burning to maximize what you have.

kick @ss thats about $300 in injectors that I can spend on other stuff now. thanks.
I forgot to add that to my sig. I have the Jet Performance Adjustable regulator. And Im in the process of getting all the stuff together to start burning chips. Im sure Ill be posting a whole lot of questions once I get going on that.
