need serious fan help....

Got some fan problems.....

88 Iroc 350 tpi

dual electric factory fans, the driver side fan is coming on when it should and running all the time its supposed to when the engine is running. The passenger side fan is not coming on at all while the engine is running. If I turn the engine off, turn on the AC switch and turn the ignition on without starting the motor the passenger side fan comes on, the driver side does not. If I leave the AC on and start the car the passenger side fan shuts off and the drivers side turns on. So pretty much the passenger side fan isnt coming on at all with the motor running even if the temp goes almost all the way up to redline. So any ideas what might be wrong? Thanks.

help has arrived...lol

ok guy real quick...now this is how it works on my 92 z....drivers side fan...controlled by comp chip..also will come on when air conditioning selected...passenger side fan is controlled by temp switch that screws into cylinder head..on my car is the right head...the fans wil not come on..if the air conditioning is off until some *** awful temp is reached...i purchased a hyper tech thermo master chip a cooling fan switch from them and a 160 deg stat...had to run one that low because of the programming in the chip..installed all and wow...no overheating imagine that...lol..hopes this helps...later bro
