88 and 89 iroc

I am looking to buy a 88 or 89 iroc 350 TPI i noticed some 89's are rated at 230 hp and some 240 hp because of the dual cat system are these harder to find than the single cat models? And if i buy a single cat model and switch in a dual cat system will i achieve the 240 HP?thanx for any help.

I wouldn't sweat getting a dual cat one to only get 10 more hp. If you plan on modding the dual cat cat-backs are more expensive and by the time you either get a new hi flo cat, it will be cheaper only buying one and you'll probably end up getting the same amount of power out of it.
I remember one guy PM me about getting a Hooker cat-back for his dual cat car, he just bought new cats, like $260 or so. That's more than what I paid for the Hooker cat-back.

Wow thanx for the info i was so hell bent on trying to find a dual cat car but now i see i just might be better off with the single since i will probaly add a hi flo cat and flowmaster exhaust and maybe as time goes by some SLP headers.Next time i will post on just one board i just thought i might get more replies on the Tech board thanx again.
