Lubepro's hell

Lubepro's hell...

I usually go to a Lubepro's right next to my house for my
respective oil changes.. but this time I was on the other side
of town, and decided to let this other one do it. cuz it wasnt
real busy.

ok here is what happened...

I pull into the bay
park
get out
go to the break room get some coffee....
20 minutes later...
dude comes over and says "it's done.. but we had to put 6 qts of oil in your car for some reason.. so it's gonna be a bit more cuz your car took so much oil"

I said "what! My car doesnt take that much oil..
let me see the manager...

the Manager comes over.... the dudes explainin himself to the manager on the way over to the desk.. and I say what he told me etc.. and the manager takes the kid to the side..
The manager comes over and apologizes and tells me they will do it over again.
so another 20 minutes goes by.. and Im in the breakroom talkin
tothis girl with ane clipse gettin her oil change.. she was admiring my car and we were talkin about what was hapening and shes like.. thats that I shouldnt have to pay for this oil change cuz it is only sposed to take 15 minutes and they screwed up..

so Im like ya!!!!! so!.. the dude comes back over and another dude pulls my car out and pops the hoood.. and Im like whats going on now.. and he says I want to show you someting.

so Im like.... anyways.. I pay for the oil change and wlk over to my car.. and hepulls out the dipstick.. and says.. there is a prob.. I think yuour engine isnt original..

I say.. "Whaaaat??? no.... its original"

he says.. "well look at this dipstick.. it has a chevy symbol on it.. you have a Pontiac" !!!!!!!!
YES HE REALLY SAID THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I immediately walked over to the manager.. told the manager what the kid said.. and I told him all Firebirds have Chevy Motors in them, and that I dont ever want that dude working on myc ar again, and I want this oil change refunded becaus it took too long!!!!

I got my money back, and I drove off... the kid was giving me dirty looks when I left!!
Be careful of Lube Pros people!! watch them bastards!!

I got sick of having to replace oil pans whenever quick lube places crossthreaded my drain plug.
Happened on 2 of my cars out of the 4 times I had it done.

Good thing I do my oil changes myself. How anyone trusts these places (unless they know the workers) is beyond me.

I'm with Tom. I like to change my own so I have an excuse to get under them and take a good look around, use mt own synthetic grease, inspect a little more closely, etc. Plus, I use Mobil 1, so that would be pretty cost-prohibitive at LubePro. I get most of mine at Wally World or Farm & Barn, and it still isn't cheap, but at least reasonable.

But in case I get lazy, which one screwed you over? State? Riverside? Main? Alpine? Roscoe?
