When I took my 1981 305 block in to the shop, my machinist estimated the block to weighing about 110 lbs. This is just the bare block.
A friend has a 283 block that is bored .040 over, and weighs more than my 305, I'm guessing closer to 130-135 lbs.
The older iron blocks up until the 70's were heavier castings, I believe.
EDIT-- I changed the wording slightly in order to avoid the idea that I also have a 283 block, which I do not.
