foglight switch almost starts fire
hey everyone, i have recently purchased driving lights for my camaro. I have had them on my car for about two months now with no problems until today. I was at a stoplight and i noticed smoke coming out from behind the driving lights switch. The rubber pieces on the end of the wires were melted to the switch. That was the only part of the wires that were messed up. I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and why did this happen? thank you for helping me out guys.
I would follow those wire to see if their being shorted out anywhere, make sure none of them are exposed. After you fix the problem check your fuses and make sure you don't have a larger one where you don't need it. Hopefully if it happens again it will pop a fuse before starting your car on fire.
