well basically i start it up and it sounds very loud. it sounds like it gargleing(sp) and it smells like some kind of fumes. also the car doesn't want to go. someone my moms says it could be the catalyic converter. also on the last inspection the car was at 3.50 on nox and the limit is 4.00 so i think that is alittle high for that car. also my mom brought it to a gas station and he thinks it needs i tune up and i think that is so wrong so can anyone point me in the right direction. on yea one more thing the exhaust pipe is rattleing really bad now.

 

sounds like a plugged converter to me also..
