I am looking at 2 different tires right now and kinda have limited funds. I am looking at the kumha 712 and the futura ultra z. Both run about 110-120 a tire. Just wondering if any of you guys had tried either of these tires, and what you thought of them. Or if you know of any other tire in about this price range, that is better. The kumha seems to have a really good rating, but I wanted to get some fellow third gen owner opinion. I have futura super sport gtx on the rear right now and they really suck *** in the rain, but the ultra z looks like it has better water shed. My brother has the Kuhmo 712's on his 95 Z28 and he loves them. He is in a local car club F-Bodies Unlimited and most of them run those tires. He says they wear well and grip very well. Once i get my car finished I'm going to buy a set of 712's. Check tirerack.com. He only paid $85.00 each plus shipping for 245/50/16.
