Please Help Quick!!!!

I just purchased an engine stand from an autoparts store and it did not come with the bolts. Could anyone please tell me what the bell housing bolt size would be for a 69-80 350? I have a cherry picker for today only so I need an answer as soon as possible. All I have is the enigne so I cant take the bolts off of the car to get the size.

Thanks

if i'm not mistaken they are 3/8" bolts, I would get some pretty long ones though and get 4 -1/2" pipe nipples from home depot or somewhere like that to use a spacers, they sould be at least 2" long, and get the bolts long enough to go through the nipples and the stand arms and into the the block. in fact you can get everything from home depot of lowes.

...or you could go back to the store and get the bolt and spacer kit. The spacers provided are a little heavier than even SCH 80 pipe, and you've already paid for them once.

Most auto parts store engine stands have the spacers already welded in place but do not come with the bolts. You'll need 3/8" 16 thread pitch bolts about 3-3 1/2" long, also get washers for under the heads.
