Performance on a 88 Iroc 350tpi

I just got my 88 Iroc it has the 350 TPI completely stock except K&N filters, B&M tranny and 2100 hole shot converter..... my friends have said get intake, exhaust, headers, and then work form there, an otehr friend said to get bigger injectores and a higher pressure fuel regulator.... what should i do, and could you give em some decent parts/prices to go with.... thanks alot guys

well do the "free mods" and tune it up...get it running right. After that i'd definately opt for exhaust mods. For a good exhaust set-up from the heads back, you're looking at $500-1000 (including labor) depending on which parts you buy and how you want to set it up. My particular exhaust set-up set me back $800 and some of my own time (installing the headers), mostly because i had to keep it smog legal which means expensive headers and a cat but its well worth it because you not only gain substantial hp now, but it allows ample room for future mods.

SFCs, headers and a cat-back.

The stock exhaust is bar far your biggest restriction right now.
