How to take Headlights

How do I completely take out the head lights on a 82 T/A

kinda in a hurry anybody know how? I need to remove them to get to a bolt on the bumper support.

Well, on my'88 there's four bolts: two high up on top of the radiator support, and two low. You pretty much have to remove the headlight bezel, and headlight to get to the two lower ones, which means removing the plastic panels that surround the headlights as well.

so is that the easiest way? Just take out the plastic peice? Do i need to take out the metal one to?

Yeah, the plastic piece that surrounds the lights, then the metal/chrome headlight bezel; finally the headlight itself. Then you have to jam your arm in there with a small ratchet/socket and unscrew the (IIRC) 10mm bolts - there's two of them. The whole unit will then come out, and you'll have to unclip the plug that supplies power to the motor.
