just checking ot make sure if all 82-82 V8 are 4 bbl and alum intake engines, especially 82-84 models, seems like all of them are that ive ever seen, makes hard ot tell diff visually from a LG4 and L69

Not hardly. Between cross-fire injection, TPI, and TBI, there are a lot of non-4bbl 3rd gens out there.

Those that had a carb are 4bbl's, though. Aluminum intakes seem to be limited to US-delivered vehicles. At least, the Canadian carb'd 305's seemed to get cast iron intakes.

L69's will have a dual-snorkel air cleaner, and larger y-pipe/cat/cat-back than the LG4. '83-'84 had a knock sensor (LG4 did '85-on). Other than that, you can't tell just by looking at externals (VIN, perhaps).
