Correct belt for smog pump removal

Hey Guys, I have my smog pump off for right now because I am removing all of the internals. In the mean time I still want to drive my car. I checked out the tech article on the smog pump removal: https://www.thirdgen.org/newdesign/t...rpentine.shtml

There is 2 points I need to ask about.
#1, it says you have to re-route your belt, mine looks just like the one in the color pic. I do not see where the re-routing is. Can someone tell me how it differs or post a pic?
#2 If you are removing a pulley that the belt has to go around, wouldn't the belt be smaller? The article says you have to get a longer belt.

Sorry to sound like such a novice on this one. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I finally figured it out. I drew out the belt routing sequenece and it is different and now makes sense.
