Would this be possible?

I dont know what journal size it is, but could you put a crank from a 307 (3.250) into a 400 block? You would come out with 347ci and you could rev the **** out of it.

Yeah, except all 307 cranks are cast... it was the L03 of its day

The subject does come up from time to time however. The 307 & 327 stroke is 3.25". The NASCAR guys run a 358 inch motor; it's 4.155 x 3.31".

I actually have a set of Venolia 12.5:1 pistons laying around somewhere for that exact combination... I think I may even have a steel 327-stroke aftermarket crank in inventory muahahahaha
