what is the maximum width rim you can mount on the rear of a 3rd gen without having to tub it out or have them sticking out 4 inches past the fender? Just a nice clean fit would be nice.

Not sure about your ?, but I have the same engine as you minus the heads. I have the same headers and I'm about to put on the same intake. Also I have the same gears.

How do you like it? Did you drive the car before you put on those heads? I'm about to install the XE268, was just wondering on how much it's goin to help.

the heads made a huge difference compared to the goodwrench heads. i had the head b4 i had the intake and holley. the package now is pretty sweet but the XE cam that i will be putting in soon will hopefully make it a beast.

Since no one has replied, do a search on the Appearance board, I believe your ? has come up there a few times. I know a few have 275s without problems. Not sure of the height ratio # though.

I've heard of 315/35/17 tires on 17"x11" wheels in the rear and no wider than a 9.5" w/ 275 in the front. I do believe that you have to hammer the rear wheel well's a little to fit the 315's though.
