tpi or performer edelbrock intake carb?

hey guys i got a 86 305 tpi now i was wondering i ordered a cam for my car now i need to no will my tpi be as fast as a carb 600 and a performer intake .my friend has the lg4 305 and he put that stuff on with a good exhaust he now runs 15 flat so is it worth getting rid of the tpi for carb thanks

You're going to run into more problems than necessary to go to carb. Changing distributor, eliminating the computer, TC LU. MPG will suffer as well. Stick with the TPI.

I have an Edelbrock carb and though it works just fine, I wouldn't go from TPI to it.
