Fule pump relay

Question for ya guys, the engine in question here is a M.P.E.F.I. LOL..... yea multi port 2.8 but the wireing is the same as the tpi for the main part..... i can make the car start just fine if i cross a wire from the positive terminal to the feul pump relay harness, but i get no power to the relay, i have power to the fuse, anyhelpw ould be much apreciated. thanks in advance Matt Manglos
