How often should I change power steering fluid?

And what's the best way to change it without coating my garage floor with it?

most people never change it, add to if they have a leak or do maintance. best way to "drain" it would be with a sucker bulb, battery filler type syringe.

I never changed mine in any on my thirdgen's, as me grandfather says "just wait untill it breaks", then you can pull new fluid in.

If you feel the need you can disconnect the cooling line that travels under the car.
I didn't change mine until I had to replace a hardline for the ps.
