sticky throttle
My throttle seems to stick when the car gets hot(over 200 deg)..this usually only happens in traffic on 90+ degree days.
Does anyone else have this problem and what could it be?

You need to isolate the problem to either the throttle body, throttle cable, or pedal assembly. Disconnect the throttle cable at the belcrank on the TB. Operate the throttle shaft by hand to check for binding and interference. Operate the pedal by hand to check for cable or pedal binding. Once you determine the source, you can repair the cause.
If there is any binding in the cable, don't risk having a stuck throttle - just replace it. They never get any better by themselves, and even lubrication doesn't help once the cable begins to unwind in the sheath.
If the TB shaft is binding, you may have worn bushings and/or throttle plates that are binding. You could try to realign the throttle plates, but if the shaft or bushings are worn, there is little to do other than replace the bushings or the entire throttle body.
Bushing replacement would involve disassembly of the TB, drilling or reaming the shaft bore to an oversize, pressing in replacement bronze or sintered iron bushings, then reaming them to the correct TB shaft diameter. You would probably have to source the bushings on your own, since I've never seen a kit for repairing a TB.
Hopefully, it's just the cable.

thanks man... But why does it only do it when its hot? A tap of the gas brings it right back down.
Is changing the throttle cable difficult or expensive?
