I have installed TF Heads and a 218/224 cam my problem is with using the stock L98 chip I am getting 3 counts of retard from a 0-60 run . When driving and downshifting the car doesnt go anywjere and I am getting baout 25 degrees of retard. This is with 6* and 94 octane. But the more I advance the timing to like 14 I get awesome power when i get on it and i get the same amount of knock. Any suggs?

 

i'm sure no expert, but i think you can put a radio shack resister in the knock sense line to stop or reduce the knock counts. not sure what size resisiter, vader i believe has mentioned it before. try sending him a PM or doing a search.
