Porting the Victor Jr.

I have an Victor Jr. that I port matched to a set of 1205's. I ported it right on the money, but what worries me is the heads(Performer RPM 64cc) are not as close as on the intake.

It's a very small border on some of the runners, when matched to the 1205s.

Should I brake out the tape & rags and port the heads on the money or am I being to pickey ??? I know the heads are CNC'ed to the 1205's, but I have the intake right to the border of the 1205.

Personally I don't think that 1/16" overhang one way or the other is worth worrying about.

But that's just me.

Thank's man...

I'm not going to bother with the heads. The walls might over hange 1/32 on the sides, & theres a slight bevel - which is good.

I'm using my energy instead to line up the gasket, & if it's worth a couple of HP - I'm game...

I RTV'ed the gasket to the heads, and have index marks on the gasket to line up with the intake. It's turning out pretty good.
