My girlfriend wants to have a screen name on thirdgen since she has a thirdgen but we can't register, every time it says "you are already logged in".

 

When you go to post a message, look where it says "Logged in user." To the right of your username is a link that says "logout." Hope this helps you out.

 

Tried that, doesn't work, because it instantly logs me back in when the page loads.

 

delete your cookies, and uncheck the place that says something about "save cookies from this forum" or words to that effect

your userID and pw are stored in your cookies, the server just automatically goes and checks to see if they're in there when you load the page

 

Strange; I just used the "log out" feature, and it didn't log me back in. What kind of browser are you using? I'm using IE6.0 with all the latest security updates (find at http://www.microsoft.com/ie )
