few questions about pressing pins in rods.
Im taking my pins somewhere to get pressed it. and have a couple questions.
1) How long does it take them to do, could I have it back in a day.
2)How much does it cost.
3) I know my local napa does stuff like that, should I take it to an actuall "speed shop", there really isnt to much to screw up when all your doing is pressing a pin in.
thanx guys
Brian

Your talking about getting your pistons hung on the rods, Right?
Actually they heat the small end of the rod up and slip the pin thru. Go to an automotive machine shop and be prepared to pay about $32-$40 for a set of 8.

I just talked to the guy on the phone, $7.50 per piston. He'll get it done so I can pick it up the next day.
