ok, this isn't for my f-body.. but my friends 98 (?) saturn. most of the time her blinkers work just fine, but sometimes she will turn one of them on and they will blink for a second and then stop working.. and do nothing.. could it just be the blinker relay thing, or maybe something more in the wiring??

 

Tell her to buy some blinker fluid.

 

Does it do this on only one side or both? If it only does it on one side it is probably the wires to the socket. If one is loose the blinker acts funny and the socket needs repair or replacement. If it's both sides it may be the flasher. Or I may be completly wrong.

 

check for a burnt out bulb, some cars use that as a bulb indicator, other wise change the flasher
