I was on the freeway when my check engine light went on. I hit the bottom of the dash where the computer is and the light went off. When the light was on my rpm went up and went to normal when the light went back off. Anyway, when I got off the freeway the car stalled when the rpm went down. And everytime I stopped the rpm went down again. The car was running fine before the light went on. Does the computer need the contacts cleaned or tightened or would the car stalling have nothing to do with that? thanks btw it's a 1986 305 tpi
